My Gen-2

At last I have my own Gen-2. Yesterday Pahmi from EON called at 3.30pm to tell me that the car is ready me to drive home. Call my wife to ask her whether to take the car immediately or tomorrow (err I mean today), "ambik sekarang jugak" she said.

So, went to Sembulan, Kota Kinabalu, paid the balance amount and drove the Gen-2 home. The color is grey. The registration number is SAA3314K. Something like the above image. The actual image will be attach tomorrow.

Arrived home dah hampir pukul 7.00 malam bila semua orang dah buka puasa. Syafique & faeiz asked me why I'm driving "orang punya kereta" balik.

The Desk : Judge Me

Ambil masa almost half office day time to clear up all that kertas yang bersepah, especially kat atas meja. All kind of document, letter, memo and so on, susun dan filing. Most of it adalah Latihan Industri punya document.

Rasa macam lega dunia bila meja clear even penat gak first day puasa.

So everybody can judge me as "what" when they look at my desk?

Is a good person can be judge from his desk?

Malam tadi dia tidur awal. Lepas orang buka puasa dia mintak susu, lepas tu tertidur depan TV.

Pagi tadi bila orang nak tidur balik lepas sahur dia dah terjaga. Sekejap keluar sekejap masuk bilik buat bising, semua orang mahu di kasi bangun. Layan jer la.

Lecture & Fasting

I have 2.00 o'clock class. Co-curriculum, Kelab Kembara. It should start at 2.15 pm, but still no student at 2.20 o'clock. Wait until 2.30 then almost half of the student were coming.

Everybody were tired termasuk ngan aku sekali. Thirty student were attend the class. Since I have nothing to do, then just asked them to continue the last assignment. In previous class they already select the title for program, so this time ask them to develope the introduction and objective.

Gave them 20 minutes to finish the task in group which have already developed previously. When they were finished, present the task then everybody go home.

Next week, they have to find out the location of the activity in detail.

Ramadan

First day start puasa. Semalam start bangun sahur.

Suppose hari ni ada Workshop, kena postpone next week sebab all the machine used by Fitri. Back to the office, onn PC, looking for mp3. Last night watch Trek Selebriti kat Astro Ria, ada Rossa, Indon nyer artist. So nak carik lagu dia la konon, try google tapi tak dapat. Lastly dapat link ni. Server kat IIU. Laju boleh tahan dan ada banyak mp3 jugak.

My Lecture

Selepas lebih seminggu tak bagi lecture, semalam start dengan lecture. Awal pagi pulak tu. Material Tech. At the first half hour lecture, nampak macam student semua pun ok lagi. After half an hour, semua nampak macam blur, boring dan mata dah sepet dah semua. What was wrong with me, kalau sebelum ni at least ada gak bebudak tu semangat.

Mungkin sebab apa yang dilecture kan tu diambik dari note yang sememangnya ada dengan dia orang dan tak prepare untuk tambah the new material which is not included in their text book tu. Lagipun, I really need the laptop so that boleh explain in detail dan save time bila the note is appeared at the screen.

So, at the second half of the period, bagi dia orang jawab quiz on what I have lectured in the first half of period. The first quiz. Then bagi dia orang buat assignment untuk subject yang sepatutnya diajar on the second half tu.

Need to find out another teaching method which is up to date to new tech.

The Camping

This camping is started on 30th of September and end yesterday. The main purpose is to teach the student, who represent the club, to develop a paper work for their activity.

Other than the workshop on paper work, there are other activity we have organized to the student. This is such as the Group Work, water confident, night activity and other.

My job is to handle the workshop and to make sure they'll get their meal as planned. Well, went here and there to supply the material for cooking.

Since, I share a car with my wife, so I can't be there at night. My commitment is limited. At first night, one of the student was sick, migrain. One of the organizer has called me at 11.00pm to tell me the situation. The girl has already brought to Tuaran's Hospital for a check up by Pasukan Keselamatan Awam (JPA3). Thank god they were there for another camping. I arrived the Hospital at 12.00am. After about an hour waiting, I fetched them to my house for rest. The next morning we went back to the camp site.

Other than that everything was ok.

That Old School Stylo

One good thing when attending a short course like this is, I can meet my old school mate. Most of attendee were my friend at KuITTHO. It is nice to know a lot of new story from them and from other friend who's not attend the course.

Most of us are married and have one or two children. Talk about each family is a very nice thing. Such like, when will you "produce" another children. The production.

The job is almost the same for us. The environment is different. Well, it differ and depend on who is the administrator, the director. Some are difficult and some are happy to serve. Life, whatever it is you have to go on.

Thanx to Cikudin, Jais, Yus, Shah, Hani, Hassan, Arman and some other who I just can't remember the name but know the face.

Mentoring

At the KK airport before flight to KL

So I have attend the five days Mentoring Courses at Pearl International Hotel at Jalan Kelang Lama, KL. The courses was more on how to facilitate the Practicum Lecturer where I suppose to be the mentor and those practicum lecturer is my mentee.

Quite bored since all the time we just sat and listened to the lecture, but a bit of informative and knowledgeable.

Journal Writing:

Definition:
Continuous notes on events, problems, achievement of some field which we are interest on.

The Format:
- Note on event/ occurrence/ problems
- Feel / opinion regarding to the notes
- Analysis of the event / subject (why)
- Suggestion of action to be taken
- Time to solve the problems
- assessment on the succession (how to evaluate the result)
- next action.

well, at least I have taken a note.

My friend, Sahran said "this is a time to generate money". Well, he's rite in one aspect, but what about my children, my family. Quality Time.

The Agreement

Today is a working day, replace the next Hari Raya holiday. After an hour at my desk, Azmi from Bank Rakyat called to sign in an agreement for a car loan. At last the loan is approved.

At 1130am proceed to Bank Rakyat Likas to sign in the loan agreement. The loan was approved with one condition, I have to summit the ANGKASA form, where, if in any case I could not pay the installment for three month, then ANGKASA will automatically deduct the amount from my salary. What an option. Since today is a Saturday so I could not sign the ANGKASA form. Next Monday I'll take 10.00am flight to KL to attend a course. Hopely, at 8.00 am I'll be at admin office to sign the form.

The loan is pending until I summit the form.

Silent Decision

My wife know one salesman from EON at KK. His name is Pahmi. After I came back from Tawau last week, she contact Pahmi to get some info on procedure to buy a car. So, Pahmi has come to our place last Monday and explain to us briefly about the procedure, payment, and also has calculate how much I have to pay as a downpayment and CCM for certain period of loan. To make us more excited, there is a RM3K discount in present that EON has offer. So after the calculation, I have to pay just small amount as a downpayment.

Today we one more time met Pahmi. Agree to buy the Gen-2. I have paid a booking fee. He will process the loan application.

At 5.30pm someone from bank called my phone to tell me that it will be a bit uncertainty since I have already have a loan for my first car. He'll call back tomorrow to give a result on loan application.

Shafique & His Drawing

He likes drawing. I remember when the first time his mom bought him the color pencil, firstly he doodled the paper, but then all the flat object he thought he can used as a drawing media. The wall, TV screen, sofa, CD player, oven, etc. When someone come to my house, about half meter from the floor, they will be exhibit with a fancy color drawing which he has create along side the wall. Tukang Photostat

My wife run a stationnery shop. There are a photocopy machine, a computer and some other services she provide at her shop. I am a lecturer who always has a student who need a lecture note. So some of the student looking for me if they want to photocopy the note.

This is Edith. She is one of my student. She has a business minded so that she collect a lecture not from one of the lecturer, compile it, then ask me to photocopy the compilation note with a certain amount. It was a large amount. Today she came into my office to collect the note that she was ordered last two weeks. Hopely she'll get some profit from this.

We were happy then. Edith was happy, my wife was happy and the student were happy.

The Bike

Almost a month ago my bike was broke. Something wrong with the brake. That rear wheel totally jammed. Yesterday, I dismantled the wheel, take off the brake's drum and brought to workshop to change the brake lining. Brought the brake drum home then install it back by myself. A bit sweated since long time didn't do this kind of technical maintenance work.

Today I ride my bike to the office.

Work Again

Back to office work again: After the two hour class
First day at work after two weeks break. Nothing unusual since everyday if I'm not out from KK, I was at my desk.

Distribute the key chain that I bought from Kuching at early office hour, everybody say thank you and asked when I was going to Kuching. Most of them don't know.

Begin the morning class with SKM4B, material technology 1, with a conventional teaching method since Aliuddin has borrowed the Laptop and do not bring it back till now.

Everybody are busy with that ISO thing today since they'll start audit tomorrow.

ISO internal Audit

Tomorrow will be an internal audit for ISO. So I have to finish all the undone documentation for the auditing. And, unfortunately, there is no document regarding to the ISO I have done. So, in order to not involve in any problem when someone ask so many question, I have to finish all those undone documentation, filing, marking etc etc by today.

Faeiz Birthday

I took a 715am bus to Kota Kinabalu. After nine hours traveled by bus, I arrived at Telipok at about 4.00pm.

Today is Faeiz birthday, my second child.  His mom bought home a medium size chocolate cake to celebrate the birthday among us. At 800pm, both of them Shafique and Faeiz, impatiently want to blow the birthday cake’s candle. So we make a birthday party together.

Faeiz is two years old now and last three days Shafique was three years old.

Kenduri Arwah

One of the Tawau’s cultures, I think, when the fasting month, Ramadan is coming they will make a Kenduri Arwah. During my time in Tawau, coincidently, my in law family did this.

There is a majlis with some bacaan Yassin, tahlil and doa. They invited most of the family, neighbors and jamaah masjid for the majlis. After all those event were done, then they were served with some meal as a dinner.

Quite happening since I could met with some of my wife’s uncle, nephew, brother and sister during the majlis. I have shot some photo, but most of it were dark in color. Think of buy a new digital camera.
